You can purchase the individual train pieces separately if you prefer. The wooden train barrel car has a cherry body and birch barrels. The hardwood barrels mount on pegs. Young children love to take the barrels off and put them back on over and over again. The removable cargo encourages imaginative play and development of fine motor skills.
